I won't lie, Manic was whipped up in a fever of turbulent emotions and thoughts. That's how an artist do.
The final product was not at all what I intended when I sat down to unleash my mood that day. In fact, it was an older, and nowadays, far friendlier demon that I meant to re-release upon the world. However, as happens when one untethers and lets the mind wander and wonder as they work, the art took on it's own life.
Perhaps that makes it less of an enviable piece. But I'm sure there are some that enjoy having demons peer and leer back at them.
